How it works

How it works
------------

From link to print-ready wedding QR code in under a minute.

01

### Paste your link

Add the link to your wedding photo gallery, website, or registry. Any URL works.

 02

### Style it

Pick a wedding color preset like sage green or terracotta, choose a corner style, and add your monogram in the center.

 03

### Download & print

Export a crisp PNG or SVG and add it to your welcome sign, table cards, or invitations.

Made to match your wedding palette
----------------------------------

Generic QR codes look like parking meters. These presets are tuned to popular wedding color schemes — and every one of them stays easy to scan.

### Classic Black

Timeless black on white. Maximum contrast, scans instantly, fits every stationery suite.

### Sage Green

Soft botanical green on warm ivory. Perfect for garden weddings and eucalyptus-themed stationery.

### Terracotta

Earthy terracotta on cream, made for boho and desert-inspired weddings.

### Dusty Blue

Muted blue on a cool off-white — a favorite for spring and coastal weddings.

### Blush

Deep rose on a blush background for romantic, pastel-toned celebrations.

### Champagne

Warm bronze on champagne for elegant, gold-accented receptions.

Where to place QR codes at your wedding
---------------------------------------

The best spots are where guests already have their phones out and a moment to spare. These placements consistently get the most scans.

### Welcome sign

Every guest walks past it. A QR code on the welcome sign sets the tone: scan once, share photos all day.

### Table cards & place settings

Dinner is when phones come out. A small card per table — or per seat — is the single highest-converting spot.

### Ceremony program

Guests hold the program while they wait for the ceremony to start. That idle minute is perfect for a first scan.

### Bar & cocktail hour signs

People queue and linger at the bar. A framed sign at eye level gets scanned between drinks.

### Photo booth & guest book table

Guests are already in photo mode. Put the code next to the props or the guest book pen.

### Menus & napkins

Printed menus and napkin bands put your code directly in everyone's hands — no sign needed.

### Dance floor & DJ booth

The best candid videos happen here. A sign near the dance floor catches photos you'd otherwise never see.

### Thank-you cards

Add the code to your thank-you cards to collect the photos guests forgot to upload — weeks after the day.

 Printing & scanning tips
----------------------------

A QR code only works if it scans on the first try. Five rules of thumb before you print.

### Print it big enough

Minimum 2 × 2 cm (about 1 inch) for table cards. For signs, use roughly 1 cm of code width per 10 cm of scanning distance.

### Keep the contrast high

Dark code on a light background — never the reverse. The generator warns you when a combination gets risky.

### Leave the white margin alone

The empty border around the code (the quiet zone) is what scanners lock onto. Your download includes it — don't crop it off.

### Test before you print 100 of them

Scan a test print with an iPhone and an Android, in dim light. Thirty seconds of testing saves a reprint.

### Choose matte over glossy

Glossy paper reflects ceiling lights and camera flashes, which can blind the scanner. Matte prints scan more reliably.

What should your wedding QR code link to?
-----------------------------------------

Most couples link theirs to a shared photo gallery, so every guest's photos and videos land in one place.

Guests scan the code and upload photos instantly — no app, no account.

Your LensGo gallery link never changes, so codes printed months ahead keep working.

You get every photo in full quality, from every guest, in one album.

 FAQ

Frequently asked questions
--------------------------

Is this wedding QR code generator free? Yes — creating, customizing, and downloading your QR code is completely free and unlimited, with no watermark. When you download, we suggest creating a free LensGo gallery so guests can share photos through your code, but that's optional.

Does the QR code expire? No. The generator creates a static QR code that encodes your link directly, so it works forever and never stops scanning. Just make sure the link itself stays online.

What should my wedding QR code link to? Most couples link to a shared photo gallery where guests can upload their photos and videos. You can also link to your wedding website, registry, RSVP form, or playlist — any URL works.

Can I add a logo or monogram to the center? Yes. Upload any image and it is placed in the center of the code. The generator uses high error correction, so the code stays scannable with a logo.

Which colors scan best? A dark code on a light background. All wedding presets — classic black, sage green, terracotta, dusty blue, blush, and champagne — are tuned to stay scannable. If you pick custom colors, the tool warns you when the contrast gets too low.

Which file format should I use for printing? Use SVG for print shops, invitations, and large signs — it stays sharp at any size. Use PNG for DIY printing, Canva, or digital use. Both are included in the download.

How do I create a QR code for my wedding photos? Paste the link to your photo gallery into the generator above, pick a wedding color preset, and download your QR code as PNG or SVG. No gallery yet? Create a free LensGo album first — guests who scan the code upload their photos and videos straight into it, no app or account needed.
