This month we focused heavily on making uploads faster and more reliable, especially for guests uploading lots of photos and videos at busy events. Here's everything that changed for you.

### **Faster, sturdier uploads**

Uploading to an event just got a serious upgrade:

- **Large files now go straight to secure storage.** Big photos and videos are uploaded directly and reliably, instead of being bottlenecked through a single slow step — so uploads finish faster, even on flaky venue Wi-Fi.
- **Chunked uploads for guests.** Files are now broken into small pieces and reassembled safely on our end, which makes uploads far more resilient to interrupted or unstable connections.
- **Fewer failed uploads.** We fixed several edge cases where an upload could get stuck or fail — including issues behind certain networks/CDNs, race conditions when many guests upload at once, and a bug where cancelling one upload could accidentally affect another person's completed photo.
- **Faster deletes.** Removing an upload from an event is now noticeably quicker.

### **Better support for your photos and videos**

- **iPhone photos (HEIC) are automatically converted** so they display properly for everyone, no matter what device they're viewing on.
- **Video upload bugs fixed** — a couple of issues that could cause video uploads to fail have been resolved.
- Some behind-the-scenes image processing improvements to keep photos loading quickly and looking sharp.
