About Us ======== Connecting people through shared memories. Our Mission ----------- At LensGo, we’re on a mission to bring people closer through shared moments. We believe every event—whether it’s a wedding, birthday, trip, or company gathering—deserves to be captured, celebrated, and cherished together. That’s why we’ve built a simple, collaborative platform where guests can instantly share photos in real time—no app, no signup for guests, just a QR code or link. Every memory is collected in one place, turning your event into a living, interactive experience that everyone helps create. Because life’s best moments aren’t meant to be kept to yourself—they’re meant to be shared, relived, and remembered—together. Our Story --------- LensGo was founded by Daan and Charèl from The Netherlands. When they planned their wedding, they searched for a GDPR-compliant, EU-based platform to securely store their guests’ photos and videos. But nothing met their standards—most options were either non-EU or lacked other essentials. So, they built LensGo. As a software engineer, they created a platform where memories stay secure. Data & privacy All your data stays in Frankfurt, Germany ----------------------------------------- We host everything in one place on purpose: a data centre in Frankfurt, Germany. Germany has some of the strictest data protection rules in Europe, and we would rather be held to them than work around them. ### Stored in Frankfurt, Germany Every photo, video and account record lives in a data centre in Frankfurt, Germany (AWS eu-central-1). Nothing is replicated to a region outside the European Union, and no copies sit on servers in the United States. ### Under strict German privacy law We chose Germany deliberately. Its data protection regime is among the strictest in Europe, so the photos and videos your guests upload are covered by rules written to protect people rather than platforms. ### Fully GDPR compliant LensGo is built around the GDPR from the ground up: minimal data collection, clear controller and processor roles, documented retention, and a data processing agreement you can sign for company events. ### Never sold, never used for ads Your event media is never sold, never mined for advertising profiles and never handed to third parties. Access stays limited to what is needed to run your album, and you decide when it is deleted. ### European suppliers We avoid non-European partners wherever we have a choice, so the services LensGo runs on are European. There is exactly one exception: Cloudflare, which sits in front of the site for security and content delivery. We would rather name it than quietly leave it out.
